Organizational minutes, constitution, and minutes of meetings of the board of directors, 1789 Feb.-1792 Aug., of the New York Manufacturing Society. Minutes concern Society finances and efforts to establish, equip, finance, and operate a textile factory in New York City, including the hiring of apprentices and weavers, furnishing of a factory building, and buying of equipment and raw materials.
